Panorama is a mid-rise residential four attached towers that is uniquely designed to maximize the views across the fairways of the Emirates Golf Course and the Dubai Marina skyline. Panorama features 224 apartments that have floor-to-ceiling windows in the living rooms and bedrooms, state-of-the-art kitchens and elegantly accented bathrooms. Among other features are an elegant foyer that assures a welcoming ambience, and amenities including a gymnasium, a soft play area, a games room, and an infinity pool and dedicated children’s pool.


The Works started on site without a building permit or the final design

The building structure was revised several times during construction of which a huge transfer slab and double height slab were introduced.

The landscape area was revised after constructing the columns and foundations and revised again after constructing the planters and landscape structures. These revisions necessitated the strengthening of columns and demolition of planters and landscape structures.

The first floor and main entrance hall was revised structurally by eliminating the second floor in the main hall area and changing the finishes when on site.

Dubai Wharf is a mixed-use development within the heart of Culture Village, overlooking the Dubai Creek; a district/area well known for its heritage and historic ambiance.


ECC was awarded this project after the raft foundation, part of the basement slab and the retaining walls had all been completed by another contractor with major water leakages starting through the raft foundation and basement walls. The waterproofing sub-contractor failed to solve the leakage issue. ECC solved the issue.

Serious logistic problems due to the limited access to the site and insufficient space around the plot for storage of materials.

Insufficient space was available during mobilization for the site offices and other facilities. Half of the site offices needed to be demobilized in the middle of the project to allow other contractors to work.

This large design and build project consisted of 208 – acre three themed gated community, inspired by the beauty of the desert and the grace of the Arabian Gazelle incorporates elements from traditional Arabic and Spanish architecture.

This project consists of 1370 villas and accounts for the first 5 phases of the Springs development in the Emirates Hills community, a sought-after community in Dubai set amidst scenic lakes and lush landscaping. The Springs community features single-family semi detached villas to blocks of 2, 4, 6 and 8 houses. There were 36 different elevations for the villas and 4 different layouts. A 45.5 km boundary wall for the villas was also constructed. Structure and MEP was carried out on a design and build basis.


• First challenge was to speed up the construction to meet the tight schedule from EMAAR by redesigning the foundation from an isolated footing with column necks and tie beams to raft foundation with ring ground beams around the block.

• Second, challenge was to change the design of the boundary wall from isolated footing and tie beams, columns and block work to cast-in-situ concrete walls.

• Both above mentioned changes were costlier, no claim was raised.

• The third and main challenge was to work in parallel with the infrastructure contractor which required a lot of coordination to agree and minimize the delays due to deep underground services.

The construction consisted of 179 Villas & Townhouses as well as common swimming pools, and all related external works.

The Scope of Works comprises the Construction and Maintenance of Proposed 11 Nos. Buildings ranging from Gr + 3 to Gr + 7 Floors over a Common Basement. Andalasiun, Italian and Spanish are three Architectural Theming Styles of the proposed buildings.

This complex consists of a 20 storey office building and a 14 storey residential building, which are connected by a 3 storey shopping complex with 3 basements of car parking. It is located in one of the busiest areas in Dubai, and therefore posed many logistical and engineering challenges. By carefully studying and planning the project we completed construction in 2 years, with no disruption to vehicular traffic.
