KEY CHALLENGES

Only One tower crane was installed, which was challenging as strict coordination between all different activities was required to utilize the tower crane in approximately 15 hours per day for shuttering, concreting, building material shifting, installation of precast concrete panels, installation of curtain walls and glazing.

Hamilton Tower is a comfort & luxury residential building located in the Business Bay area of Dubai, designed according to European Standards with superior fixtures and finishes, and rooted in the Dubai’s central business, commercial and residential area.

The 19-storey tower has a built-up area of 31,120 Sq. M, with a combination of Pile Caps & a raft resting on piles as its foundation. The core walls act as the spine of the building, housing the lift shafts and the staircases, while the horizontal slabs are all post-tensioned. Moreover, the external envelope is clad with granite.

The tower is split into a basement level, 3 podiums (dedicated for parking, a health club & a swimming pool), and 16 floors of residential apartment units with x 2 beds, etc. Retail outlets are found on the ground floor level.
